Dampati is a social drama, which is about a family portraying the life of marriage couple with their friends and family. Charu and Saraj are a married couple without a child for 7 years. They would spend their life happily with friends having lots of fun. Charu was very childish and Saraj used to consider all her childish activities with patience. Saraj knew the pain that Charu felt being motherless and without a child. The story has several elements of comedy when their servant Panchu and maid Bindya have some romantic moments. On the other side Charu’s sister and Saraj’s brother were also in love with each other. Charu with her cunning ideas arranged their marriage by talking to her mother-in-law and convincing her for the same. But Charu remained sad inside and would pray to God for a child, would hope to become a mother someday. The story ends on a happy note where Charu and Saraj were finally blessed with a baby boy and they lived happily ever after, along with all their friends and family.
