Prem belongs to a wealthy family but when his father remarries, he doesn't accept it & leaves home. He goes to his paternal estate where he meets Anjali, daughter of a school teacher & they fall in love. But Aditya a local goon has his eyes on Anjali. He tries to marry Anjali by threatning her father. Initially he gives his consent but pulls out at last & decides to marry off Anjali & Prem which enrages Adity's father & he shoots both Anjali & Prem.
