Bilombito Loy' is the story of Mriganka and Aditii and the ups and downs their lives go through. Mriganka is a budding painter and Aditi a singer. They fall in love and get married against the wishes of their family. Their married life hits a rough patch when Mriganka remains aloof from the needs of the family and Aditi has to toil hard to run the family. They finally get divorced. Aditi becomes a renowned singer. Mriganka becomes an alcoholic when he fails to do well as an artist. Edith an orphan brought by Aditi's family and Aditi's companion spots Mriganka in frail health. She nurses him back to health. She encourages him to start painting again. They get married. But, Edith's meeting with Aditi at the church makes her feel that she separated them. Edith suffers a miscarriage and dies. Aditi comes to attend Edith burial and realizes that Mriganka needs a support. She offers her support.
